Photo Formation is a photo effect tool that transforms images into creative paper formations. Featuring a 3D light engine that produces shadows with depth, this software allows users to fragment, join, weave, rip, and fold photos with intricate details mimicking handmade assembly.
Providing users with a library of presets and a randomize option for endless variations, Photo Formation allows for customization using tools for moving, rotating, and scaling compositions. The software caters to both beginners and advanced users, offering an Auto Generate feature to kickstart the creative process or the option to fine-tune effects manually.
What distinguishes Photo Formation is its advanced lighting system. By rendering true 3D folds and creases with realistic shadows that respond to adjustments in lighting direction and multiple light sources, this tool delivers high-quality results. The software comes with eight paper styles including Photo Weave, Panographic, Photo Slice, Photo Strips, Fold Defy, Crease, Crumple, and Rip.
